1998 Porsche 911 Carrera

Zweck is pleased to offer a 1998 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet, equipped with 6-speed manual transmission and finished in the stunning combination of black non-metallic over Lobster Red leather with sport seats. This 64-thousand mile Cabriolet is an excellent, final-year example of the air-cooled 993 chassis and looks fantastic with its 18-inch, Hartmann 3-piece “Turbo Twist” wheels (equipped with Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 tires). A Porsche Classic Radio has been installed along with upgraded speakers and amplifier as well. In Sept. 2020, this 993 benefitted from an extensive mechanical service. The 3.6L varioram engine and G50/20 transmission were removed and a new clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing were installed. While the engine was out, new timing cover gaskets, valve cover gaskets, and various engine seals were installed along with a fresh oil change. A complete ignition system refresh was performed with new spark plug wires, spark plugs, distributor caps and rotors. A new power steering drive belt and shift rod seal were installed as well before re-installing the engine and transmission into the car. Desirable factory options include hard-back sport seats, motor sound package, litronic HID headlamps, and of course, a 6-speed manual with two-wheel drive. This lovely 993 C2 Cabriolet comes with a clean CARFAX report, partial service records, boot cover, wind deflector, 2 keys, factory literature, spare tire and tool kit.
